  UNIX ADDRESS MANAGEMENT AND BANK DATA
 

Introduction
AFD have brought Postcode Plus and Bankfinder to the Unix platform, with all the business benefits and advantages this can bring to any bank data and address management scenario.

Both are available as a Developer's API on most versions of Unix - from Linux to Solaris, and including AIX, DGUX, HP-UX & SCO.

What systems will it work with?
The API will work with the following:

  • Sun UltraSPARC Hardware with Solaris 8 or greater.

  • Redhat Linux 6.2 or greater on Intel x86 Hardware.

  • SuSE Linux 8.0 or greater on Intel x86 Hardware.
  • SCO OpenServer 5 on Intel x86 Hardware.
  • FreeBSD on Intel x86 Hardware.
  • HP-UX
The API should also work with other major Linux distributions and is available on request for:
  • AIX

  • DGUX

...and most other versions of Unix, and of course virtually all windows applications.

Evaluation and API details
A fully functional evaluation, based on a selection of data is provided to enable testing and development of your installation without any commitment. The evaluation has libraries for the main platforms, sample source code and external libraries for use with PL/SQL on Oracle running under Unix servers.

Why not combine our Address Management solutions for Unix with our database functionality for Oracle.
 
System Requirements
Postcode Plus requires approx 200 Mb fixed disk space. BankFinder requires approx 25 Mb fixed disk space. A C compiler (such as GCC) will be needed to compile the sample programs.
