AFD’s native Business Central app provides rapid, accurate Business Central address lookup and postcode validation directly within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Users can perform address lookup in Business Central (BC) by entering a postcode or partial address and selecting a verified result within customer and supplier records, removing manual entry, and improving data accuracy.
This Business Central address lookup solution uses licensed Royal Mail PAF and Ordnance Survey data to ensure clean, consistent address data across your BC platform.

The native AFD Address Lookup in Dynamics 365 Business Central app is available directly via AppSource. Explore our full implementation guide where you’ll find setup instructions, configuration examples, and best practices to help you get up and running quickly and accurately.
There are currently two realistic approaches for organisations needing Business Central address lookup following the closure of the getAddress.io integration.
We can do this, but don’t recommend it
We can provide a replacement “translator” layer that redirects the existing getaddress.io integration to a different address lookup API for Business Central. While this can provide a short-term workaround, if Microsoft removes or alters the getaddress.io integration components in a future update, this approach will stop working without warning. In effect, it preserves a dependency on something that is no longer maintained and does not provide a stable Business Central address lookup solution.
We (and D365 Implementors) recommend this
AFD provides a native Business Central Address Lookup App that has already been deployed and tested in BC environments. The app runs fully within Business Central rather than relying on the legacy getaddress integration.
Users can perform postcode lookup and address lookup in Business Central directly within customer, supplier and account records, selecting verified results at the point of entry.
The app uses correctly licensed Royal Mail PAF data alongside Ordnance Survey addressing, new build property records, flats data and additional commercial addressing datasets. International address data is also included.
This approach removes manual typing, improves address accuracy and ensures consistent customer and financial data across the Business Central platform.
