Taking second place in this year’s One World Charity Challenge – and also picking up the AFD Award for Advocacy – was the team from Castle Rushen High School representing Village Africa. This was the first time Village Africa had been represented in the Challenge and the team did an amazing job in explaining the work of the charity as well as raising awareness including being interviewed on Manx Radio and talking to their local MHK. The team is shown with David and Alison Dorricott of AFD who funded the advocacy prize and their link teacher Miss Metcalfe.
