Helping to capture accurate student data

Name, Address, Phone, Email and Bank data can all be validated to help prevent invalid data being entered into your systems. Existing data can also be cleansed to check if the data is valid, and where possible correct it.

AFD’s fast, accurate validation solutions integrate with the leading MIS packages including (but certainly not restricted to):

SITS and e:Vision from Tribal
ebs from Tribal
ProSolution from Advanced
Unit-e from ESS
REMS from Civica
U4SM from Unit4

And our flexible API’s can be deployed
in bespoke or inhouse systems.

Higher Education
On average, 4.3% of student e-mail addresses and 5.3% of phone numbers sent to us by Higher Education institutions are invalid. AFD's Email and Phone Validation solutions help prevent this by ensuring data accuracy at the point of entry.
Student Addresses
A staggering 17% of addresses sent to AFD from one of our Higher Education customers were incorrect. Using AFD’s Address Lookup solution removes the potential for inaccuracy, as only valid addresses can be selected.
Further Education
On average, 5.2% of student e-mail addresses and 8% of phone numbers sent to us by Further Education institutions are invalid. AFD's Email and Phone Validation solutions help prevent this by ensuring data accuracy at the point of entry.

We need good data. We use AFD online for the student application and enrolment processes. We need to capture contact details correctly, if we are unable to contact students (prospective and current), this doesn’t provide them with confidence.

AFD helps ensure we capture the address, email, and phone data accurately. One student can provide £50,000 in funding, its essential we don’t let them slip through the application stage due to an incorrect phone number or email address.

Accurate contact data is also essential for student support and pastoral care. If a student misses a class and that’s out of character, we can reach out to them via their phone number or email address and provide the required levels of support to them during their studies.

Each student studying at the college between 16 and 18 years old effectively provides us with £5,000 per annum of vital funding, whilst students over 18 provide £2,000. Preventing one or two students from slipping through the net more than covers the cost of email and phone validation from AFD. From sales through to support, all the team at AFD Software are friendly and quick to respond to any queries we have. The length of time we have relied on The Postcode People at AFD is a testament to their skills and expertise.

Whilst not specifically developed for the Education Sector, Censation has a wide range of possible applications and can be used to give an indication of the socioeconomic background of an applicant
