Introducing the AFD Postcode Evolution Service, a new technology capable of serving
data from the Postcode
Plus, BankFinder and Names & Numbers products in a flexible XML format.
The Postcode Evolution Service is a server-side solution for accessing AFD datasets from either a server application, website or network clients.
We recommend that you download and read the Administrator Guide for the Postcode Evolution Server, especially existing Postcode Everywhere customers, as this contains important information related to upgrading.
To get started with the service, just follow these simple steps:
- Download the Postcode Evolution Service installer (includes the Management program).
- Install the Postcode Evolution Service onto a Windows Server (when complete, the installer will run the Service Management program).
- Start the service on the specified port, and add your serial number from the Licence Certificate.
If you are replacing an existing DLL integration of Postcode Internet, you will also need to download the Postcode Evolution Legacy installer
