The Common API provides a common development platform for AFD's range
of address management software and banking software. Developers can integrate
with one API, without having to consider whether the end user of their application will
be using Postcode, Postcode Plus or Names and Numbers.
The Common API also caters for address formatting options by
returning address data in three formats, including PAF and BS7666.
Important: AFD will not be phasing out support for the existing product
APIs.
